Iwanuma Sheep Village
After the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, two sheep were released to graze on the abandoned remains of a coastal settlement damaged by the tsunami. As the land gradually transformed into a clean, open grassland, it was reborn as Iwanuma Sheep Village. Today, it serves as a community space where visitors can interact with the sheep, enjoy feeding experiences, and take part in seasonal vegetable-harvesting activities.
